ClockSpeak Social Media
This week on ClockSpeak, Social Media Supervisor Begüm Kasap shares her take on the question: "How do algorithm changes affect your work and how do you adapt to them?" 👇

How do algorithm changes affect your work and how do you adapt to them?
Algorithm changes directly affect the way we work, and we see this less as a risk than as a natural dynamic that forces us to keep our strategy constantly up to date. After all, the core purpose of algorithms is to surface content that reads user behaviour correctly, generates engagement and increases time spent on the platform.
For this reason we manage the adaptation process with a data-driven, systematic approach rather than instant reactions. We analyse content performance regularly and track which formats and storytelling styles stand out through reach, engagement, watch time and response rates. After algorithm changes we set up rapid testing cycles and prioritise the content types that deliver results.
Artificial intelligence gives us significant support here. We make use of AI-based tools to deepen performance analysis, produce content variations quickly and read user behaviour more clearly. This shortens the trial-and-error period and lets us run a more controlled and predictable process.
In short, our approach to algorithm changes is built on putting data at the centre, testing continuously and keeping the content strategy current without compromising brand identity. This delivers sustainable performance and long-term growth.
